Term 3 Week 4 Morning Meeting

For the past 2 years, the Year 6 students have started each day with a morning meeting.  Last year the students were on a volunteer basis, this year the 3 Year 6 classes are taking it in turns to run the meeting.

All students know the karakia now and can say it without needing the words displayed. There a re a range of songs they choose, however the most often chosen are Te Aroha, Tu Tura Mai and Matariki.

Earlier in the year, in Room 22 we explored our Pepeha. This was the way of introducing ourselves to others. Most students can say theirs without needing the book - however there are still about 10 that need the book to read it.
